Why does Ethanol get all the Press?
I just did a Yahoo news search on Ethanol and then one on Methanol. There were approximately 20 times more stories on Ethanol than Methanol. Yes, ethanol is a little more efficient, methanol can be made from more sources and would not put as much pressure on certain agricultural products.
It is seems to be the same for producers. Many in Ethanol, very few in Methanol.
