My favourite devotion is Divine Mercy. I have read the 700 Diary at least three times. I take consolation in what Jesus says in bringing the most hardened sinners to Him as no one really prays for them. It also says the wrath of God the Father is held back by Faustina herself and in different apparitions, Our Lady. This is a sobering reality. In the book, we read that there will be a Polish Pope that would come and prepare the world for the End Days. Back in Faustina's day, there were only Italian Popes. Little did one know that we would experience a Polish one! So the prophecy was correct....and we are being prepared for the end times as it were. And yet man has still more time to pervert himself. Animal/human embryos, same sex marriage, abortion on demand, AIDS, etc etc etc. One of the greatest solutions is to pray the Divine Mercy, the rosary, etc. for the intentions of those who have turned their backs on the Lord. We can also write letters, voice our concern, etc. This would be part of evangelizing. We will be criticized and laughed at...that is when we know that we are truly following Jesus: if the world hates us (Bishop Sheen).
