Why do we continue to reject Christ
Two portions of the readings from Mass today got me thinking, why do we continually reject Christ.
From the Gospel:
28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Mt 11: 28-30 RSV)
From the 2nd reading:
12 So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh– 13 for if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. (Rm 8:12-13 RSV)
Society today has not only rejected Christ for the most part, it has become openly hostile towards the Lord. This is evident by the perversion running rampant and is praised and promoted by the Secular Relativists who think they are actually in charge. They do not realize that, by rejecting Christ, they are choosing death and, if we do not do anything, they will die and drag many innocent souls with them.
A crusade is needed and the sooner it happens, the better chance there will be of reversing this trend.
