How Much Time does Society Have?

A few days ago, I came upon the following article on Catholic Exchange that kind of echoes my opinion that today’s society may be: (probably is) on the verge of implosion:

How Much Time Does the U.S. Have?

Although the article mainly focuses on the United States, I see the assertions made in the article apply to not only the US, but to many parts of the world.

According to the article, the US reached its zenith at the end of World War II (1945) and has started on its decline shortly thereafter. It states various events of the past 60 years and how they mirror the fall of other societies that were studied. If they are right in their hypotheses, we are well on our way to societal collapse not only here in the US, but in many parts of the world.

Of course, there are those who are blind to the truth. Over on a well-known Catholic Forum, one person even called the article “bogus”. This is another sign that we are well on our way. Relativism blinds them to the decline since there is no concept of right or wrong for the Relativist.

Can we save society? It is possible, but we are, according to the article, we may well be in the third and final generation before the collapse. Yes there are signs that thing may be turning around, but it is going to take a concerted effort (i.e. the “Next Real Crusade) to reverse the major damage that has been done. If not, we are going to have to start all over.
